The Motor Mount

The first chips This first picture shows the motor mount (the 1st part) being made by me at Polcraft inc. I started cutting the first metal of the project on Saturday 2/20/99.

Motor mount ready for second opp on wire EDM I used a Wire EDM machine to cut the alignment holes and heatsink profile in this opp.

The third opp for the motor mount This picture shows the flanges being relieved on the Wire EDM.

Last opp was cutting this relief slot on the mill to clear the main shaft and gear The last opperation was to cut this clearance slot on the Bridgeport Mill.
